A ten month exploration of life-work emergence through role work including role-analysis, role-theory, role-training, and role-reversal. Each session will be spent working through 2 protagonist centered psychodramas. Participants will sign up for the session when they would like to work.
The starting point for these dramas will be a role-diagram. We will explore enneagram elements, anti-oppression aspects, as well as Mosher quadrants as they emerge.
Our tools will include, action methods (psychodrama and other), journaling, dream-work, liberation skills, and relational sanctuary practices. We meet as a whole group once per month (4th Monday of the month) and have the option to participate in a weekly practice group during the time in between. The work in this group will serve the participants own mission/vision and path finding, as well as be useful for coaching and counseling others through such process. This will be an environment with an action-to-encounter ethic rather than large group discussion. The search for a life path is woven together with our sense of what is ultimate. This group fosters attention to questions of calling and vocation. The group promotes an integral approach to life-work, focusing on cultivation of emergent responses to inner impulses toward particular courses of action.A demonstrated commitment to supporting the goals of fellow participants is a key element of this group.
In this group we center historically mistreated, currently marginalized, and often devalued voices. We recognize the dehumanizing impact of white/euro-centric norms and seek cultural humility by rejecting anti-immigrant rhetoric and action. We affirm the self-determination of indigenous and native communities. We value traditional stories and decolonization. We work to deconstruct gender oppression by integrating feminist and trans-valuing orientations. We actively disrupt ageism, ableism, classism, racism and heterosexism. We extend welcome to members of all faiths and to those who do not identify as having a religious orientation. We notice that the multiply marginalized hold data for humanization for all. This group is designed to provide in-depth inquiry into crafting life-path.
