Regina Sewell, PhD (Sociology), MEd, LMHC, PCC, CP, PAT
Regina Sewell is a licensed mental health counselor in New York and a licensed professional counselor in Ohio. She holds certification from the American Board of Examiners as a Certified Practitioner of Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy. She has been strongly influenced by Positive Psychology and holds certificates from several Positive Psychology courses. Additionally, Regina is a Certified Grief Educator.
Regina specializes in co-dependency, addictions, LGBT issues, grief, stress management, and helping individuals get unstuck. Her extensive experience includes working in the addictions field at The Ohio State University Talbot Hall Addiction Medicine, addressing various levels of care, and teaching college courses on Drug and Alcohol Use and Abuse.Currently, she runs a private therapy practice with offices in Hopewell Junction and Rhinebeck, NY. Regina is a Fellow of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP) and serves as president of the Hudson Valley Chapter of the ASGPP.
Regina also teaches Theatre Therapy at Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, and Sociology at SUNY New Paltz.
