Elemental Skills of Subtle Justice

Leticia Nieto and Candace Tkachuck will offer a 10-session deep dive into invitational liberation. Each session will explore a section of the book Beyond Inclusion, Beyond Empowerment.

Many of us feel called to ways of being and relating that are informed by invitational liberation. We long for deeper and more resilient forms of equilibrium, for bonds that endure and are strengthened by the complex work of justice. Together, we will embrace the fundamental relationality of our existence, practicing the art of holding views and stances more tentatively and graciously.

Reflective Prompt:
Think about moments of excellence and vitality in addressing social oppression or "-isms" that were redemptive, restorative, and transformational.

This journey will be guided by a faithful reading of Beyond Inclusion, Beyond Empowerment and delivered primarily through action methodologies: Sociometry, Sociodrama, and Psychodrama.

Unlike other offerings by Leticia Nieto, this series requires participants to read the text Beyond Inclusion, Beyond Empowerment prior to attending sessions. We will bring the book to life through interactive activities.
