Psychodrama is a therapeutic technique where individuals enact scenes from their lives, dreams, or imaginations under the guidance of a director. 'À Deux' is French for 'in pairs' or 'for two,' suggesting that this form of psychodrama involves just two participants, typically a therapist and a client. Conducting this kind of session in a virtual environment has become more prevalent, allowing participants to engage in psychodrama remotely from the comfort of their homes. Body Movement and Expression emphasizes the use of physical movement and non-verbal expression as part of the psychodramatic process. Even in an online setting, participants should be encouraged to use movement, body language, gestures, and facial expressions to convey emotions and tell their stories, thereby enhancing the therapeutic experience. This 2-session workshop will demonstrate how psychodrama in individual therapy can be applied online, not just through verbal accounts, but by creating a realistic and expressive environment.
