J.L. Moreno, the father of psychodrama, believed that the lack of spontaneity and creativity was one of the most critical challenges in psychology. He emphasized that the ability to respond adequately to situations is often a matter of life and death. Moreno saw spontaneity as the energy required to spark creativity and adaptively address life's challenges.Future Projection is an evidence-based experiential structure that enables clients to access their spontaneity by exploring their future in action. By creating a desired future as if it were happening in the here and now, clients can:
Imagine and embody the future they want.
Reflect on their imagined journey.
Identify obstacles along the way.
Recognize and expand the resources needed to overcome those obstacles.
Future Projections foster a sense of hope and possibility.About the WorkshopIn this workshop, we will demonstrate how to use the Future Projection structure to help clients access their spontaneity and embody the future they desire. Methods of Presentation
