Workshop description:
The reflecting team is a method created by constructivist family therapists. It is a concept that is used in clinical settings and allows families/participants to ease drop on conversations among professionals about their situation/struggles. These families usually experience the reflecting teams as extremely empowering. There are rules among the reflecting team professionals about using positive descriptions and avoiding competitive or criticizing terms. Their comments generally offer new options and descriptions rather than ideas about what is wrong. In this workshop we will explain the reflecting team process and show how it is used with groups. In this process every person has its role and provide suggestions offering associations from plays, movies, stories, their own lives or other cases.
Learning Objectives:
1) Explain the reflecting team process.
2) Practice the reflecting team concept by participating in a reflecting team.
The module is unique to those who attend and WILL NOT BE RECORDED.
