A workshop designed to address the increasingly common challenge of role fatigue — a state of exhaustion and diminished interest resulting from the demands of fulfilling multiple roles in one's personal and professional life.
This workshop combines the insights of role theory with the interactive techniques of psychodrama to offer participants a profound, experiential understanding of how role fatigue affects their well-being and growth. Participants will engage in psychodrama action explorations, a method that allows for the enactment of real-life situations and exploration of internal conflicts within a supportive group setting. Through various sociometric & psychodrama techniques, participants will gain deeper insights into the origins of their role fatigue, recognize its impact on their health, and explore their relationships and professional dynamics. The workshop is structured to empower participants by:
  • Identifying Role Fatigue: Understanding the signs and sources of role fatigue in one's life and its effects on personal well-being and professional productivity.
  • Exploring and Reshaping Roles: Using psychodrama techniques to explore current roles, envision changes, and experiment with new role behaviors in a safe and creative environment.
  • Developing Coping Strategies: Practical strategies for managing role demands more effectively, including setting boundaries, prioritizing self-care, and enhancing communication skills.
  • Fostering Resilience and Growth: Building resilience to role fatigue by fostering a sense of community, understanding the value of support systems, and embracing flexibility in role assumptions.

This workshop is appropriate for therapists, educators, leaders, and anyone who feels overwhelmed by the pressures of juggling multiple roles or is in pursuit of enhancing their personal and professional well-being.
By the end of the session, participants will leave with a renewed sense of empowerment, practical tools for managing role fatigue, and strategies for promoting their ongoing well-being and growth.

Please note:
  • The module is unique to those who attend and WILL NOT BE RECORDED.
  • The best way to participate is through your computer; however you may attend via a tablet or cellphone.
